Animation Mentor

Finally a new Post!!! This year I had the chance to start a great new step for me as an animator. I applied for Animation Mentor and, since the begging, it had being awesome! I´m learning a lot each week, meeting amazing people, it´s so nice to see a lot of people that really love animation. My classmates were all great people, everyone helping each other! My first mentor was Anthony Wong, great animator and such a nice guy!
So, I´m sharing the reel of the first Class! This week I´m starting the second term. Hope to share more new stuff soon! See you all!!

Hey everyone! I want to thanks everyone for the visits and for the comments!

During this year, I did have a lot of different and special experiences for my life and carrer,sometimes was hard to found time to do personal work and keep the blog updated but, it's working better than ever! Hey everyone! This month I had the opportunite to meet a classic pencil, an original " Blackwing 602". My impression about it was great, I really like the texture and totally agree with the sentence on it " Half the pressure, twice the speed" ! Now I´m curious to try the new Palomino Blackwing, I saw positive reviews about it! So if you have the chance try!

Hey Every one! I missed from here for a long long time! But now....fresh stuff!
That´s because I was doing a lot of things, specially freelances and studying!
I 've finished few weeks ago a Character Design Course with Stephen Silver! That was such a really great
experience. I love character animation and that´s what I really have fun doing ! But I never felt different designing characters and caricatures!!!
At the course I had the possibility to pay attention and learn about the minimum details on the design process!

Go Kells Go!!!

I got so much happy to recieved the news that The Secret of Kells was one of the "Best animated feature" nominees!!! This film is really special to me because is my first work experience in the animation world at 2007! Congratulations to everyone who worked in this project and spent a lot of nights working to did the best job as possible. Now is just keep crossing our fingers and see what will happen on march 7th!

Hi every one! This week I had such a great surprise the trailer of the Feature film that I worked as animator, finally I can post some animation in the blog! At this project, I had the opportunity to work with really talented animators like Bruno Monteiro, who taught me a lot, Renato Sena, Bruno Carias and others! The other great surprise is that 2 of my scenes are in this trailer! The final look of this feature is really beautifull and can remind us the classic illustrations of children's books tales ! So take a look in this great project and enjoy!

Ratatouille mixed all good in an animation feature. The most extraordinary thing that a movie can do is to transform people's thoughts, and Ratatouille, particulary, did that.

Hey everybody! First I want to say ( lately) Merry Xmas and Happy new year for everyone!
I´m posting now my last caricatures and characters that I've made during train travels last year. I think now from here will be a little difficult to post frequently because I´m going to WORK ON A MOVIE for the first time in my life! It´s an awesome production called "Brendan and the Secret of Kells" ( take a look at ). I´m really proud of working in a good studio with really good animation professionals!
